Genna Weiner
A native of New York, Genna Weiner is a licensed interior designer, materials expert, blogger, and product designer. She has a passion for design, fashion and all things New York. While she enjoys projects of all types, her particular favorite is high-end residential design.
Genna likes to push the envelop and come up with designs that are adventurous and unexpected. In her quest to find products that satisfy her bold style and high standards, she often makes her own. One result is “Bloom,” the rug collection she designed in collaboration with Now Carpets, using wool and bamboo silk to create an edgy look. She is also the creative force behind BLK + GLD NY, her kids’ fashion brand. Her Gold Label Collection is an exclusive, avant-garde wallpaper line that is vibrant, daring and engaging.
Genna graduated with honors from the New York Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Architecture degree and Columbia University with a Master in Advanced Architectural Design from its GSAPP program.
